This was a project we had already started in Leipzig with Stefano and Katja and finally finished in Berlin with Ama and Vladi and two great Master students, Amanda and Sebastian. We show that the transcription factor ZEB2 regulates different genes in humans compared to other apes, which makes it a strong candidate for being involve in the evolution of the human brain.
